►BMV-Referred Defensive Driving: The Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) requires any driver who commits 2 or more traffic violations within a period of 1 year (12 months) to undergo a defensive driving program in order to avoid suspension of their driver's license.When you successfully complete the Traffic School program, you will meet all court or BMV requirements for your driver safety course. You may also take the course voluntarily to receive the 4-point credit. Your Certificate of Completion for the course will be electronically submitted to the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles within 24 hours of your course completion.
How Indiana BMV Defensive Driving Online Course Works
Indy Driver Safety course is made up of 4 chapters that you progress through at your leisure. At the end of each chapter there is a 5-question quiz. Altogether there are 20 questions on the final exam and each one is multiple-choice and has been pulled right out of the Indiana drivers safety program online course material.
